When nothing off the shelf fits

Some processes have no product built for them. We build the application that fits the way you already work.

What we do

Custom applications

Internal tools and customer-facing apps for the work that spreadsheets and generic software keep failing at.

Connected to your systems

The app talks to your CRM, database and the rest of the stack, so it is part of the business rather than another island.

Custom app

A task app the shop floor actually opens

Legno's teams hand each other work for a specific day, tick it off, and discuss it inside the task. A workshop TV shows the board with a column per person, and the app installs straight from the browser — no app store.

Custom reporting

Call reporting across two phone systems and the CRM

Much of the talk time ran through a softphone the dialer could not see. We joined Unitalk, CommPeak and HubSpot into one set of reports, and published the operator time-tracker as a protected page inside the CRM.

Questions

Before you build something custom

What people ask us first. If yours is not here, ask it in the form below.

Who owns the code?

We agree that with you before we start. Either you take the repository and its documentation at handover, so any developer can pick it up, or we keep it and look after it for you. Your data is yours either way.

Can we start small?

Yes, and we recommend it. Build the part that removes the most friction, put it in front of the people who use it, then extend. It is cheaper to learn from a small working version than from a large specification.

Will it work on phones?

Yes. We build web apps that install from the browser onto a phone's home screen and send notifications — one version for iPhone and Android, and no app store review between you and an update.

What does it run on?

Proven, widely used tools — for example Next.js with a Postgres database — hosted so it keeps running without anyone touching it. You see the monthly running cost before we start.

What does it cost?

A fixed price for each stage, quoted in writing before it starts. You decide on the next stage once you have used the last one.

What happens once it is live?

You run it yourselves, or we look after it on an ongoing basis. Either way it comes documented, so that choice stays yours.
